I got the privilege of seeing Pukey drive yesterday. It was really cool. Mrs. Salvator almost had a heart attack. Just Kidding. It was cool.

September21, 2008,
I got saved September 21,2008 in the Johnston's backyard. This was our church's 20th anniversary. It was about 10:15 p.m. I was struggling with salvation for 4 years. I've made at least 5 false professions in these 4 years and I was getting so tired of my life. I was getting so sick of making false professions and was ready to just stop trying. But there was a burning in my soul for Jesus to be my savior and for me to get saved. So I kept pursuing it. I talked to Pastor Labor Day weekend on that Sunday and he told me to read the book called "Must Jesus be Lord to be Savior" (if you're lost after you read this book it is almost impossible for you not to get saved.) Anyway After that week had passed I got up to page 70 and stopped reading for a week and a half. I was under very deep conviction though and Bro.Pelicone was staying at my house and asked to talk to talk to him. He said that since Pastor was dealing with me that he didn't want to interfere with what Pastor was doing. Then I called Pastor and he said that he wanted me to finish the book but he wouldn't stop me from praying. So I sat down and thought a little bit and didn't do anything. I finished the book on Sunday morning the 21st. I waited 'till the night service at the Johnston's after all the things that were going on went on. Pastor actually came to me and said we'll talk Tuesday morning at school after our Bible class. So I sat around a little upset because I really couldn't wait 'till Tuesday. Then I was sitting on the swing bench and Anthony Capo came over and I was talking to him. I told him a little bit of what happen. Just as I finished talking to him I saw my parents talking to Pastor saying good-bye. I then was very upset because now I knew that I had to wait 'till Tuesday. Just then my mom called me and told me that I was going home with the Pelicone's and I knew that they weren't leaving for a little bit. I then knew that was the Lord working right than and there. I knew that that, that night was the night. I finally got a hold of Pastor and told him that I couldn't wait 'till Tuesday. He then asked me about what I learned from the book and I told him. Then he said if you were to pray right now would you be saved, and I said yes. So he brought me away from the fire pit and brought me near the tent. He then asked me if I would would give everything up for Jesus and I said yes. We then talked for a few minuets about some stuff and then he said I'm going to pray and then you. So he prayed and then it was my turn. I prayed nothing fancy just what I believed and what was in my heart. When I was done I couldn't even get the word Amen out. I knew I was saved and Pastor asked "It's real right?" I knew it was. I know I'm saved and I love this new life. I just can't wait to go to Shiloh and learn everything I can. And as Mrs. Graf said that night when I was standing next to Tim, "Now we have to saved counselors!" I can't wait to get my life going and start sharing the gospel to everone I can!!!!!
