I just finished reading this book. It was very long, 321 pages or 46 chapters, how ever you want to look at it. I guess it was pretty good, but I probably wouldn't read it again!! now I'm writing a Critical Essay on one of the characters whose name is Conseil.

Good job for ploughing through that... I remember it well! The parts when M. Arronax had to describe every rock, flora, and specimen of nature kind of got on my nerves, though - Conseil is a great character. I did mine on Captain Nemo. : )
School's almost over - hang in there!
